what is the minimum order for screen printing?

Our minimum is 12 pieces per design printed. Though due to setup costs and tiered pricing it is recommended to print at least 25 or more to lower costs per unit

what info do you need to make a quote?

We would need to see the artwork to determine how many colors would be printed. How many placements would be printed: (front, back, sleeve, etc).
We would also need to know how many pieces and what style you’d like.
Finally, how quickly you would need them printed.

do you offer graphic design services?

Absolutely. With decades of design experience, Hammerknife Press can help you turn your idea into reality, and ensure that the image works for screen printing. For simple clean-up work, usually design service is included for a print run. For from-scratch design work, there would be a discussion for the design labor fee.

how do you determine the pricing for custom printing?

There is an initial setup fee per screen, and each color will need its own screen. Then the quantity and number of colors/placements are calculated to determine the cost of printing, which is added to the cost of the blank item printed to find the per-item cost.
There are possible extra fees for tricky printing techniques/fabrics, ink changes, or large ink area prints that may be added, depending on the print run.

how quickly can you fulfill an order?

The standard turn-around time is two weeks for most print runs. Runs over 500 pieces may take longer. We are able to do rush orders as soon as a few business days, which incurs a rush fee of 20% additional added to print fees.
